This article, which is part 3 of ‘how to make money with reseller web hosting,’ explains the advantages and disadvantages of two different reseller web hosting plans, including one that I use myself.

The article continues from how to make money with reseller web hosting part 2 and how to make money with reseller web hosting part 1.
The reason why the cheap reseller web hosting plan that I use is so cheap is, it isn’t as versatile as the not so cheap web hosting plan.

It’s a limited – not an unlimited web hosting plan

It doesn’t allow me to host as many domains as the other web hosting plan – it only allows me to host a maximum of 20 domains in the plan.
Because of this restriction, it’s limited, it isn’t unlimited web hosting.

An unlimited web hosting plan

The other web hosting plan that I mentioned does however allow you to have an unlimited number of domains – it’s literally unlimited web hosting.
Even so, you pay for this privilege. It costs $24 per month, compared with $7 per month for the cheap reseller web hosting plan.
However, this isn’t the whole story.

Limited not unlimited reseller web hosting and web space usage

Web space usage means how much your customers use their web hosting space and how much your customers’ customers use this web hosting space.
For example, each time your customer adds a new web page or new content to their web site it increases the web space usage.
Each time your customer receives a few more visitors – called web traffic – it increases the web space usage.
I have some evidence – yes, evidence – that the limited reseller web host that I use doesn’t allow as much web space usage as the unlimited web hosting plan.
Even so, this doesn’t have to be a problem.

Making money with a limited not unlimited reseller web hosting plan

It’s possible to make money with a limited not unlimited cheap reseller web hosting plan like this despite the restrictions on the number of domains and web space usage.
