How to make money by working at two part time jobs part 3
This part (part 3) of how to make money by working at two part time jobs explains in more detail a way of making money by being promoted at one of these two part time jobs.
As explained in part 2 of how to make money by working at two part time jobs, someone that I know has managed to get a part time job working for a builder.
As also explained previously, this builder – probably like any other builder- isn’t particularly interested in promoting the people that work for him – he
just needs unskilled help.
If the people that work for him want to get promoted and start making money they’ll have to do something about it themselves.
How to overcome this uncaring attitude and start making money
Here’s how to do this.
By chance, this builder can do just about everything except do plastering. If he wants any plastering doing, he has to pay a professional plasterer to do it.
This obviously cuts into his profit for the job, but he can’t do anything about it.
What can he do about it? He has unskilled help but doesn’t have any skilled help – such as a skilled plasterer.
Self help and motivation is the key to making money in a part time job
This is where his unskilled help steps in, this is where this someone that I know steps in.
He has bought himself a few plasterers tools, has figured out how to do plastering and is now working for the builder as a plasterer.
It isn’t a full time job as a plasterer, he still mostly does unskilled jobs for the builder and he doesn’t get a plasterer’s rate of pay.
But at least it’s a start, and it’s something that he did for himself, without any help from anyone.
One day, when he can really call himself a plasterer, he’ll be able to quit his unskilled part time job.
